I LOVE the NYX crayon style eye pencils!1) I love that many colors come in a matte finish.If we’re lucky, aging is a part of life and one of the realities of aging is looser skin around the eyes.Shiny or glittery eyeshadows don’t always work well on the looser skin of an older person’s eyes as the shine accentuates all the minute wrinkling. Matte finish looks SO much better but can sometimes be hard to find. These matte colors are great!2) I love how soft the eyeshadow is and how easy it is to apply.The eyeshadow glides on with out pulling or tugging the skin (like hard crayons do) which is, again, great for older eyes.3) I love how easy the color are to blend.A couple of finger pats and you’re done!4) I love that I can literally make up my eyes in just a few minutes and they look great.NOTE for new users:The plastic-like wrapper of the crayons make first time users wonder if this is a push-up crayon or if it only has crayon at the top (I’ve seen some reviewers complain about this).Nope!Use a sharpener just like you would with an eye pencil, you just have to apply a bit of pressure.
