It’s been so hard trying to find a safe eyeliner since finding out almost all have dangerous chemicals. But this one’s actually good! 10/10
Let's begin with the basics...Smell - the smell was amazing. It wasn't disgusting. In fact, it was super refreshing and it gave this inviting pleasure to keep using it.Appliance - The tip works amazing for precision, although I would've enjoyed if it was a bit softer. Overall, it's good.Size - Very small for the type of box it comes in :/ But I see it still has valueThe Smudge and Dry problem - The sensation of the eyeliner in my eyelids was cool, it was refreshing and nothing much of it. But... It dries super slow. Like, you'd have to wait for a solo 15-20 minutes (approximately) for it to dry well. If not, you risk it smudging your face, and if it does, The smudge will dry and will be a pain to get rid of!Solution: This kind of liner isn't meant to clean off with the typical makeup remover or water. It's super water resistant, which is great. I found that cleansing with pure coconut oil helped clean it off, even better than I expected.In short. A little bit problematic when applying, yet refreshing to use. It doesn't dry as quick, which is a bummer because you'd have to stay still for a while until it fully dries. Can't touch it while you wait or else it'll smudge because it wasn't properly dry.My advice would be...Leave the liner for the end of your makeup routineMake sure to wait for at least 20 minutes or soCheck if it smudges by using a small q tip. The more it dries, the less likely it is to smudge.Careful when applying, don't apply too hard on the lid, lest it irritates you...
If I laugh a little, that tear in the corner of my eye will wreak havoc on the liner. If I laugh a lot, it'll look like I got punched in the eye. Also, without the tears, I'll often get a "smokey-eye" effect after a few hours anyway, especially on my lower lid and dark smudges along my inner eye fold. ... Maybe I have sweaty eyes.But I still like it 🤷♀️. The liner is easy to apply. It's just not water resistant.
I was a bit skeptical at first due to another ewg verified brand being horrible,but this is the best eyeliner I've ever used! I will definitely be continuing to buy it!
