This product is meant to "protect" your skin from getting any make-up or nail-polish on it.Basically it is a "protector".I call this a "masking paint product" because I use it when applying thick or glittery nail-polish on my nails, and I want to protect the side of my nails from getting messy.Then once the polish is applied, I just peel off this Turquoise Latex "masking paint", and Voila, the polish did not get all over the side of my nail's skin.
I use this for nail art, to protect the skin around nails. It's perfect for that.
For price the amount is a bit lacking. Otherwise worked exactly as described and easy to clean.
I purchased this to use as a barrier for nail art when sponging gradients, stamping, etc. The consistency is thinner than I expected, but still peeled well after removing from the skin. This is much more cost effective than purchasing half an ounce of virtually the same product marketed towards nail artists, and marked up at 10 times the cost per ounce. I recommend purchasing empty nail polish bottles and a plastic syringe to refill the bottles when needed if you want to use this for nail art. I expect one jar to last me a lifetime!
