This color palette is so pretty. They just arrived today so I only tried each color on my arm. For the price, I was not expecting much but I was really surprised at the colors. They were not sheer or faded looking, they were the actual colors in the palette. They did glide on easily the way expensive shadows glide. I am very happy with them. I will order them in other colors.
16 gorgeous colors. This was a great buy. I read reviews about them being shimmery so I thought that for the price, I'd use them to accentuate my mattes. But when I got the pallette, the colors didn't look too too shimmery so I decided to just try them without incorporating any other eye colors. I started with the pale orangish color all over my lid and I was really surprised at how good it looked on me. I think I went with the light purple as my transition shade and used the darkest purple at the outside of my eye. I then dabbed the white in the inner corners to brighten and lightly underneath my eyebrows. The white looked like sugar to me on the brush. They have a really nice shimmer to them, which I wouldn't have thought would look good on a woman in her 50s, but I think this looks pretty flattering on me. I'm still experimenting with proper application of eyeshadow so my blending might not be the best but I did think these blended well together. I prepped my eyelids with a dab of concealer first. And I did finish with a setting spray. This is a fabulous pallette with a nice array of colors. You need to get this.
