I have only used this when tanning outdoors under the sun, as I don't use tanning beds. I like to apply it all over my body, and then apply sunscreen on top of it. It is VERY moisturizing and you only need to use a little bit. But I definitely notice a difference in my tan when I've used it, I appear nice and bronzed after only a limited time in the sun! And the carrot scent is quite pleasing.
This has a very light scent.It is very oily but I guess that’s what speeds up the tanning process.I could see a difference after laying out for an hour.
I got this to take along on a cruise. I am very fair skinned and this helped tan me up. Mind you I used this in conjunction with some sun screen otherwise I was scared I would fry. But I think this helped to give me at least a little color!
I was a bit apprehensive about ordering something that may make me smell like a carrot. It actually smells pretty great though! It’s super moisturizing and definitely helps for the dry patches on my knees and elbows I sometimes get from indoor tanning. My favorite part is that there are no artificial dyes I’m rubbing into my skin trying to achieve a more bronze appearance. I have a nice glow and my skin isn’t dry at all. A little goes a long way.
I have not used this in conjunction with tanning yet. I'm giving my skin a bit of a break bit plan to go back soon so I can't comment on it being a tanning accelerator as of yet.But it is thick and oily. Kind of like real, solid coconut oil. It goes on very greasy and seems to sit on my skin and doesn't really seem to absorb. It does seem to be very moisturizing.The scent is a little odd to me. Not unpleasant but probably not my favorite.I also have this in a pineapple scent and I like that fragrance much better. I am really curious if this will leave on oily residue on the tanning bed when I go back. I may just keep using this as a night time moisturizer.
I used after applying sunscreen. Super moisturizing, smells good, and gave my skin a golden tone that I usually don’t achieve. Typically I get a bit pinky.
I like the smell and consistency of it. I was wondering if the color just came from applying it, but it didn't.I put it on when I know I'm going to be spending long periods of time in the sun. Normally, I just come back pinkish. But this actually adds a nice tone to your skin.
I am tanning to get ready for a cruise.Just looking for a base tan.I have used this in conjunction with a tan bed.I have no way of knowing if its speeding up the process.But it smells, nice, its good for your skin.Leaves you feeling more nourished as apposed to burnt and dry!
