on fast days I sometimes only manage to only get this on as eye makeup and even then what a difference.the function of this product is just a touch of this product makes a world of difference.I have a mature eyeand this has transformed wearing less eyemakeup with a powerful look. all your eyeshadows take less product to use and with or without eyeline, a little mascara gives you a younger biggereye. this will hold like a magnet. Of course if you like a heavy use of eyeshadowthat use will look smoother and stay on all day. This is without a doubtis a cult product that many makeup artists already know about.
Ok, so I was using basic foundation on my eyelids.. Nope not anymore! This sets smoothly I blend with fingertips the apply my shadow, and it blends easily and stays .
This primer is awesome. it isn't greasy, dries quickly and what ever color of eyeshadow you are putting on will actually stay that color all day.
I've used this product for years now and i love it. I use a sponge to spread it over my entire eyelid.It stays on and is a great primer to hold your eyeshadow.The color stays on so well that I've used it as an eye shadow alone as well as added other eyeshadow colors onto it. I've learned when you use the wand and spread a little onto you eye lid that you cannot wait too long to spread it around. It will literally dry where it is and not spread around - that's how "stay on" and long-lasting this product is.
This is so spot on...my eyeshadow stays in place all day when using Urban Decay primer.I literally used it for the first time on Thanksgiving at about 9 a.m and when we returned from all our visiting at 6 p.m and I went to remove my make-up it still looked perfect.So I decided to play in the make-up and add more colors to create a new look and it still stayed in place and allowed me to shade more colors on top without muddy'ing up the colors.It was so fun!I will always use this as my base for shadow.
There was a bit of a learning curve for me.Being a senior, my eyelid area is not firm.I learned to put just a dab of Cosmedica Brightening Eye Treatment on my eyelids first and then tap a small amount of the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer on my lids.I bought it in Eden (color) and it's perfect for me.Would highly recommend this primer.
I'm so glad I purchased this. Luckily, this is a case of a product living up to the hype. It's easy to apply, lasts long, and can be worn without eyeshadow.
