I was surprised by how easy the application process is. You just apply the first solution with a wand, wipe it off, and then apply the second solution. Done! You only need a small amount. I don't know if it really lasts 1000 hours, but it does stay on for at least a couple of weeks.
For reference, I am a natural red head so my eyebrows are almost blonde. I've used regular hair color to color my eyebrows as well as products like these. I followed the instructions and it was very light and not very even. Sooo I reapplied and left it on a bit longer and it's great. The 4-6 weeks is an exaggeration because eyebrows grow a bit faster than that, at least mine do anyway. We're about a week in and it's not bad but I'll likely reapply by week 2. I still do a colored eyebrow gel in the mornings but I'm no longer fearful of waking up looming like I lost an eyebrow in my sleep or my make up washing off at the beach and revealing the monster I truly am. For the price I wouldn't mind ordering every other month if necessary. For ease of use this is one of the best.
