I am a professional makeup artist that used to do runway for major couture brands, but now does mostly wedding and editorial work.I was looking for golds and bronzes to use on my brides that had a metallic sheen and not a sparkle or glitter reflectivity.I knew that Lorac eyeshadows were highly pigmented, incredibly blendable, long-wearing, and crease-resistant.I was not sure of how they would reflect in-person and on camera.I was thrilled to find that they do in fact, have a high metallic luminosity without detectable particles.The colors are beautifully curated for those that want more earth-toned or "natural" colors and also enhance the blue of my client's eyes and were a sophisticated and elegant enough finish to use on a bride-- brightening the eye and making them look happy and confident and yet romantic.I love that I don't have to search through multiple palettes or wrack my brain to complete the look that I am going for.I also love that loading the metallic colors onto a brush and then lightly dampening the brush further enhances the glow for those instances I may need that.It is very versatile going from subtle to dramatic.Great for beginners and pros alike.
This is a perfect product if you’re looking for more neutral colors. My favorite color is the gold one that is great for putting on everyday. The primer helps the eyeshadow blend in better, but it doesn’t make that much of a difference otherwise.
I was gifted a palette of this brand two years ago and love it. This palette is just as high quality. Beautiful pigment and blendabilty.
The colors are very pretty but much to shimmery for me.The colors also flake onto cheek bones when being applied. I don’t want to look like I’m wearing foil on my eyelids!Would have been nice to have known this item was a no refund/no return item before I ordered!😡 Heck I can take stuff back to brick and mortar stores but not Amazon!Very unhappy!
