I have bought other Loreal mascaras, but this was the first time buying this balm. I was coming off a gloppy, clumpy Covergirl mascara, so the long, individual lashes this gave me were wonderful. I have lashes that are not terribly long & there's not an abundance of them. This balm went on so easy & gave me such length on each lash. I was also happy to find a true brown mascara. I am a redhead with brown lashes & prefer brown mascara over the starkness of even black-brown mascaras. The only thing I do wish is that this came in waterproof.
I wanted to test out how brown mascara would look on me before I committed to a more expensive brand, but I feel satisfied enough with this product that I'll be sticking with it once this tube is done!The shape and hand-feel of the wand are good, making it easy to apply. The color and texture are great. I work 12 hour shifts and it lasts pretty well, though reapplying it somewhere in the middle of the day helps. It's definitely worth the price.
