I was excited by this palette since at first look it resembled some fashionable, high end makeup palette's I'd been eyeing (some of the colors are dupes for the Urban Decay Ultraviolet and Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde). But, the colors are very highly pigmented and in this combo seem ridiculous. The greens, which I took to be that nice aqua shade everyone's using lately, once applied are a much deeper green/turquoise and you end up looking like Ursula in The Little Mermaid. However, in time I have figured out how to make the colors in this palette work for me. They're dramatic looks for sure (can't you tell?) but carefully arranged by color family they don't look too cartoonish.
The colors are so bright and apply true to pigment. I love the Cover Girl TruNaked pallets! This one did not disappoint!
This pallet was a happy little surprise.I saw it on Instagram and came here to snag with prime. The colors are fun and vibrant and the shadows are soft. The only downside, and an expected one at that, is you must use a primer or cream shadow base if you want the show to adhere and stick around.
