They last a while too it stayed for almost a week and a half. As long as you take care of it itll last. She tried not to get it too wet and didn't put any lotions on the henna just around it. Yes it washes off but thats why its called temporary. I bought this for Burningman and since its dry weather, it should stay for a while. Colors are vibrant. Really happy w my purchase
